It was such a wise decision by Metro Nashville Public Schools to embed Kurdish language curriculum into the schools programs. Looks at Nashvilles Kurdish population, which is the largest in North America. Kurdish refugees first arrived in Nashville in 1976 and have since established a vibrant community in Little Kurdistan.
